Bernhard Lampert is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Allied Finance Group. A certified chartered accountant and entrepreneur, he began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Zurich, New York and Basle. He founded Allied Finance in Vaduz in 1997. In addition to his own independent activities, he founded KPMG (Liechtenstein) AG in 1998 together with KPMG Switzerland, built up the company whilst also expanding Allied Finance, and then handed it on to the new partners. As a businessman, Bernhard Lampert has extensive experience in offering support and advice to family businesses and in conjunction with his team, develops successful strategies and structures that last for generations. He understands the needs of family companies extremely well, drawing on first-hand business experience.
Bernhard Lampert is a member of the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority’s supervisory board and the author of various publications.
Alois Wiederkehr is a member of the Allied Finance Group’s Board of Directors. Since 1989, he is partner at Wiederkehr & Co. providing strategic advice to influential entrepreneurial families and independent family offices. Mr. Wiederkehr has many years of experience serving on the Board of Directors for operating and holding companies. He began his career as the director of Citibank Switzerland, and later spent seven years as CEO of J.P. Morgan (Suisse) in Geneva/Zurich before founding his own company.
Bruno Looser is a certified chartered accountant and a member of the Alliance Finance Group’s Board of Directors. He has been working in the fields of accounting and business consultancy since 1972. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ostschweizerische Treuhand-Gesellschaft, lead partner at KPMG and was responsible for developing the St. Gallen branch of Neutra Treuhand AG. His areas of expertise include strategic tax planning and optimisation, succession planning, corporate restructuring and the execution of wills.
Jeannette Nigg has been with the Allied Finance Group since 2002. Since July 2013, she is a Member of the Board of Directors and together with Bernard Lampert responsible for strategic projects and business development. From 2009 until 2013, she was Chief Operating Officer of the Allied Finance Group and a member of the Executive Board. She was responsible for the group's development and expansion. She is the HNI client manager, and was closely involved in setting up the Hong Kong and Singapore networks. Prior to this, she established the Zurich office in conjunction with Bernhard Lampert. Since 2010, Ms. Nigg has been the Resident Manager for AF Trustees Pte Ltd (formerly AF-ST Trustees Pte Ltd), Singapore.
Christina Appert is a member of the Board of Directors of Allied Finance Trust AG, Vaduz and as Head Office Manager she is responsible for the operational business in Vaduz. Mrs. Appert holds a master degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen and qualified as chartered accountant while working at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Zurich. She has worked in a managerial position at Allied Finance since the formation of the company and contributed substantially to the company's development. In the meantime she qualifed as chartered accountant and trustee in Liechtenstein. Mrs. Appert advises international clients and additionally specialised in consulting and administration services for insurance companies and investment funds.
Markus Scherer is the CFO of Allied Finance since 2012. The certified chartered accountant and lic. oec. HSG with extensive international finance experience started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit. He held various management roles. Before joining Allied Finance he was Head Regional Controlling of the Holcim Group.
Roderic N. A. Sage
Roderick N. A. Sage is CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of AFP Group. Roddy Sage has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of accounting, international tax planning and cross-border structures. He is an expert in the Asian markets, and also has a valuable understanding of cultural differences. Mr. Sage spent 20 years of his career at KPMG Hong Kong, with roles including partner and Senior Tax Partner for Hong Kong and China. His knowledge and experience is appreciated by government parties and international institutions alike. Mr. Sage was appointed an independent consultant to the Financial Reporting Review Panel for the Hong Kong Financial Reporting Council, and additionally provides independent consultancy services to leading and sustainable investment companies. He is also an associate member of the UK Institute of Taxation.
